Our Commitment to Safety
Malcolm Contracting is committed to providing a strong and practical health and safety program for our employees and the people we work with. Our goal is to complete each job safely, efficiently, and with respect for the property, environment, and communities around us.
Management is responsible for leading by example and ensuring safe work practices are followed. This includes providing proper equipment, ongoing training, supervision, and the procedures needed to help reduce hazards on site.
Supervisors and operators are expected to follow safe work practices, use the appropriate protective equipment, and communicate clearly with team members, customers, and contractors. Every worker has a role in identifying hazards, reporting unsafe conditions, and helping maintain a safe workplace.
Whether we are hauling material, operating heavy equipment, completing excavation work, or supplying aggregate, safety remains a priority from start to finish.
We take Safety seriously, and are proud to be in good standing with the following:
•Certificate of Recognition Program (COR) with Alberta Construction Safety (Certificate# 20250916-3787)
•Alberta Government “Commercial Vehicle inspection Program” (CVlP)
